The announcement comes hot-on-the-heels of PICO’s earlier success in this year’s iF Product Design Awards.
PICO joins an exclusive club of products that have been honoured by both of the world’s leading design competitions in the same year. Notably, REVO’s PICO is the only digital radio to have receive both of these prestigious awards.
With more than 7,000 submissions from 60 countries, the Red Dot Product Design Award is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world. Each year an international jury reviews and evaluates the submitted products according to criteria such as degree of innovation, functionality and quality. The group of jurors is made up of renowned designers and design experts from around the world
The Red Dot award is as a seal of quality; it stands for membership of the best in design and business. The winners receive the awards in person on the occasion of the gala ceremony in the Essen Aalto-Theater, which is witnessed by more than 1,200 guests from business, the arts and politics.
Revo Pick-Up 'International' Prize at Scottish Enterprise Awards

Revo Technologies Ltd is the recipient of a Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire Business Excellence Award for 2008.
The prestigious accolade was presented by journalist and TV personality Lorraine Kelly at the annual Business Excellence Awards event, held in Motherwell on the 29th of February 2008.
Revo's success came in the International category and rewards the company's efforts in establishing and developing overseas trade. Currently around 55% of Revo's turnover comes from sales to international markets.
Revo's Commercial Director Colin Urie is pictured receiving the award from journalist and TV personality Lorraine Kelly, and a representative from award sponsor Honeywell.

Las Vegas - CES 2008 - Revo Technologies and Coby Electronics USA Announce Partnership

HD Radio versions of two popular Revo models are set to go on sale in the USA following a partnership deal with U.S. based Coby Electronics, announced at the CES 2008 consumer electronics show in Las Vegas.
HD Radio versions of our Pico and Mondo designs are due to go on sale in the USA in April 2008, through Coby's extensive dealer network.
HD Radio is the U.S. equivalent of Europe's DAB digital radio platform.
The agreement will initially see Pico and Mondo renamed HDR-700 and HDR-650 respectively, and jointly carrying the Coby and Revo brand names.
